Come join Ranger Kevin for a 3.2-mile round-trip hike along the Yavapai Trail. We’ll immerse ourselves in a desert landscape silvered by moonlight as we make our way towards the top, where one of the prettiest views of Lake Pleasant awaits us. Trail is moderately difficult, with a few small sections of loose/unstable rock and considerable elevation change. Please bring water and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead. NO pets, please. MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood Trailhead, enter the park via the NORTH ENTRANCE.

Please note: While we hope for clear skies, hike will occur regardless of cloudy weather. Hike will only be canceled in the event of active storms and/or dangerous trail conditions.
Limit 16 participants. To register, please email Ranger Kevin at Kevin.Thorson@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. Please make sure you register for the 4/5/23 7pm Moonlight hike at Lake Pleasant. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on Monday, 04/03/23.
